Köche Chimney Warranty Terms & Conditions
- The motor is covered under a lifetime warranty of 12 years.
- Comprehensive Product Warranty: The entire product is covered under a 2-year warranty starting from the date of purchase.
- Accessories and consumable parts such as plastic, rubber, metal or aesthetic components, metal filters, charcoal filters, bulbs, LEDs, switches, knobs, outer body, glass parts, and paint peel-off are not covered under warranty.
- Manufacturing defects will be rectified free of cost during the warranty period.
- Routine maintenance, cleaning, or servicing visits are not covered under this warranty and will be chargeable at the prevailing rates.
- Warranty begins from the date of purchase, not from the installation or usage date.
- Warranty registration is mandatory within 30 days of purchase. After this period, registration can be done by submitting a copy of the invoice along with a payment of ₹1000.
- In case of part or product replacement, the warranty continues for the remaining period only.
- Services will be provided during normal working hours (10 AM – 6 PM) on regular working days, excluding Sundays and public holidays, upon presentation of a valid warranty card and proof of purchase (i.e., invoice).
- Warranty terms are subject to change without prior notice.
- Wear and tear, discoloration, oxidation or cosmetic changes are not covered.
- After the standard warranty period, all services (including technician visits, labour, and part replacement) will be chargeable as per prevailing company policy. Extended warranties will only cover specified parts.
- This warranty does not cover consequential or incidental damages, including damage to property, injury, or loss of use due to product failure.
- All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Karnataka only.
- Whether a defective item or component is to be replaced or repaired shall be at the sole discretion of the company. In case of part replacement, the defective part removed from the chimney becomes the property of the company.
- The unit must be installed and operated strictly as per the specifications given in the manual.
- To keep the warranty valid, you must schedule preventive/periodic maintenance at least twice a year through an authorized Köche service center by calling the customer care number.
- If no authorized service center is available locally or service is needed beyond municipal limits, it will be provided from the nearest center with applicable travel charges.
- If the product is relocated from the original purchase location, a transfer fee of ₹500 will apply. Inform Köche for records. The fee is payable to the local authorized service centre as per company policy. Re-installation charges are separate and will be as per prevailing rates.
Warranty Exclusions:
This warranty is not applicable under the following conditions:
- Proof of purchase (original GST invoice and/or warranty card) is not presented during a warranty claim.
- Installation or repairs are not carried out by an authorized service personnel or franchise or agency.
- Product is not used or installed as per the installation manual or user instructions.
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, improper maintenance, or accidental damage.
- Damage from external factors: lightning, acts of God, abnormalities in the power supply, pressure variations, or transit/shifting damage.
- Unauthorized modifications or tampering with the product or the serial nos.
- Recommended periodic maintenance is not carried out.
- Defective or substandard parts are used instead of genuine spares.
- Damage due to operation in highly corrosive, alkaline or acidic atmosphere.
- The chimney is used for commercial use of the product and not domestic/personal use.
Köche Hobs Warranty Terms & Conditions
- Your appliance is warranted for a period of 12 months. Manufacturing defects will be rectified free of cost during the warranty period.
- The warranty for the burner, valve, and glass is 5 years. In case of toughened glass, the maximum number of free replacements will be limited to 2 times within the warranty period.
- The warranty for glass becomes null and void in the following cases:
a) Glass breakage due to improper use or accidental damage
b) Use of gas tandoor, gas oven, or dosa tava
c) Sprinkling water on a hot glass surface
d) Failure to follow other safety norms/precautions - Warranty registration is mandatory within 30 days of purchase. After this period, registration can be done by submitting a copy of the invoice along with a payment of ₹1000.
- The unit must be installed and operated strictly as per the User Manual.
- Warranty becomes valid only upon verification of a valid GST invoice.
- The warranty does not cover:
a) Normal wear and tear affecting the paint, finish, or discoloration of burners
b) Plastic, rubber, metal, aesthetic parts, and consumables (e.g., batteries)
c) Routine maintenance, cleaning, or service (these are chargeable)
d) Damages related to chipping, peeling, denting
Warranty Void Conditions
- The warranty shall be void in the following cases:
a) The unit is installed, opened, tampered with (including serial nos.), or serviced by persons other than those authorized by Köche
b) Defects caused during transit to or from the service center
c) Modifications or structural changes made to the appliance, or if it is not used as per operating standards
d) Preventive/periodic maintenance not carried out as recommended i.e at least once a year
e) Use of non-genuine parts
f) Damage caused by improper electrical circuits or faulty power supply
g) Use of substandard detergents, corrosive chemicals, or operation in abnormally acidic/alkaline environments
h) Change of ownership, or if the appliance is taken out of the country
i) Commercial usage (e.g., hotels, restaurants, hostels, or similar establishments)
j) Failure due to environmental factors, misuse, negligence, mishandling, accidents, pests/rodents, or acts of God, etc. - If the warranty is void, the customer must bear the cost of spares and service charges.
- Routine maintenance, cleaning, or servicing is not covered under this warranty and will be chargeable. All visits & service after the warranty period will be chargeable at standard rates.
- During the warranty period, if the appliance is shifted from the original city of purchase to another city/town where service is provided, a warranty transfer fee of ₹500 will be charged (installation excluded).
- Services are available only during normal working hours (10 AM–6 PM) on regular working days, excluding Sundays and public holidays.
- This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts, at the company’s discretion, and does not cover product replacement. Defective parts replaced under warranty become the property of Köche.
- The company is not liable for consequential loss or damages to the customer or third parties due to failure/malfunction of the appliance.
- All disputes are subject to Karnataka jurisdiction.

Köche Cooktops Warranty Terms & Conditions
- The warranty period is as mentioned below. Manufacturing defects will be rectified free of cost during the warranty period.
- The warranty for the burner, valve, and glass varies by product,
a) Spartek 2B Cooktop: Comprehensive Warranty: 2 Years
b) Bren Series Cooktops: Comprehensive Warranty: 2 Years
c) Ivan Series Hoptops: Comprehensive Warranty: 1 Year
Glass Warranty: 7 Years
Burner & Valve Warranty: 5 Years - The warranty for glass becomes null and void in the following cases:
