Yes. Select models, such as the Ivan 3- and 4-Burner Hobtops, come with an auto-ignition feature.
Proper cleaning ensures your cooktop remains safe and performs at its best:
- Enameled parts: Wipe with lukewarm water and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Burner spreaders: Wash regularly with hot water and detergent, ensuring all blockages are removed.
- Stainless steel parts: Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
- Glass surfaces: Clean with a slightly damp sponge or cloth. Avoid excessive water, which may damage internal electrical components. For persistent stains, use non-abrasive detergents, market-available cooktop cleaners, or a little hot vinegar. Avoid acids or stainless steel pads.
- Ignition and knobs: Clean spark plugs regularly to prevent ignition issues. If knobs become stiff, contact a qualified engineer for tap lubrication.
The base installation charge for a cooktop or gas stove or hobtop is ₹400, and the service is completed within 48–72 hours of raising the installation ticket.
You need 1 periodic maintenance service per year and you can avail this service by subscribing to the Mandatory Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) of Rs. 750 Per Annum.
