Maintenance & Cleaning

How Auto-Clean Technology Works

The heat auto-clean system vaporizes grease and oil particles that build up inside the chimney and directs them into a removable oil collector.

To initiate Heat Auto-Clean,
• Touch and hold the auto-clean button on the control panel for 3 seconds when the chimney is in standby mode.

• A 10-minute cleaning cycle will begin.

  • • For the first 9 minutes, the internal heater melts and loosens the accumulated grease.
  • • During the final 1 minute, the fan runs at low speed to expel the loosened grease through the outlet.
  • • Any remaining residue is collected in the oil collector tray located behind the filter.

Cleaning the Oil Collector

The oil collector should be cleaned periodically to prevent overflow and ensure the chimney continues to operate efficiently. Regular cleaning also helps maintain proper hygiene and suction performance.

Maintenance Tips for Long Life

To maximize the lifespan of the 90 cm BLDC chimney, clean the exterior regularly, inspect the ducting periodically, and schedule professional maintenance service twice a year for optimal performance.
